ABOUT US
Formless Arts Team is composed by Bruno Caverna, Marina Pereira, Ester Braga, Francesca Romano. We share a diverse background of various body-mind disciplines and a common vision that tackles a profound ethical engagement and constitution, dealing with the sources and roots of our modes of being and interacting in this world. During such tough challenging times, our commitment is to engage by providing our best tools, available resources and acquired lifelong knowledge as potentially supportive means for the recreation of more functional paradigms in every aspect of human existence. At the same time, we keep our perspectives fresh and open, humbly conceiving life eternally mysteriously as an open-ended experiment with no absolute truths and/or ultimate panaceas. As part of the making of a fertile soil for more dignified forms of expression, we keep on questioning and reevaluating those meaningful agreements that are going astray and obsolete at an overwhelming speed, and which are no longer fulfilling the original purposes as it had been once socially and culturally conveyed. Our commitment is to keep on embracing and gardening the unknown and every other path that may lead to a genuine sense of unbroken wholeness as part of that primal functionality that shall never be undermined. For that, we are delighted and bewildered to acknowledge the interplay of paradoxical qualities: from the most frugal expressions to the highest degrees of our evolutionary complexity, that may bear fruits of uncompromising and everlasting human integrity.

WHAT DO WE MEAN WITH MENTORING ?
We offer direct guidance and share our personal embodiment of knowledge and experiences in all what concerns the relationship between body and mind. We wish to support the person in his/her own process, opening doors, both by awakening personal resources and offering specific tools for the cultivation of self-awareness, resiliency, functionality, well-being.

We begin with the body, through movement, breath, alignments, perception, activation, structure, relaxation, frames and exercises, to direct carefully the focus and work in depth. Inevitably, yet consciously we get to embrace all aspects of the being, beyond the physicality, so that its totality can function in the most efficient way throughout daily life. Mentoring in this perspective is about providing to participants the best ground possible to discover and cultivate their inner potential and creative energy. We wish to inspire and support self development and self expression. The care is to not let something behind, but to move forward with all our being, keeping safe our integrity with courage and honesty.

Improvisation — is primarily an exploration of your body, which implies deep inner work and sensitivity. The ability to move spontaneously, using different principles or qualities that will help you develop and fill your dance from different angles.

From an external practice to an internal one
"THE BODY DOESN'T LIE" BY FRANCESCA ROMANO
A transversal practice that embraces, is inspired and uses elements from
different movement disciplines like dance, improvisation, CI, yoga, martial
arts, Play-Fight and somatics. The desire is to look beyond defined identities and re-consider our being humans as complex systems designed to be flexible and adaptable.
To learn how to make the most out of your own resources and to discover new tools for your well-being through the repetition of movement sequences ranging from yoga frames and principles (mainly from anusara and vinyasa approach), meditation, postural gymnastics and somatics.
Breath-Ability is a mentorship program inspired by the Buteyko Method, Freediving and focus on CO2 Tolerance. The sessions are offered either as an individual format or as a dual process. The framework will be tailored and aligned to specific needs and wishes drawn from a thorough one-to-one evaluation.
Play-Fight is a partner-work practice built on the premise that being bound by the gravitational field will unavoidably generate fear-reactivity in relation to the constant imminence of falling. The overall aim is to bring to the awareness those patterns of hidden resistances in order to enable resilience, self-knowledge to eventually release those lifelong stored unnecessary physical-mental-emotional tensions and related dysfunctionalities.
